Mangiare in Italia

Il cibo non è la mia grande passione, ma devo ammettere che si mangia bene in Italia. E quando dico questo, non penso ai piatti complicati di un buon ristorante, ma soprattutto al cibo di tutti i giorni. Pizza, pasta, pane, verdure, pollo e pesce ecc.

Forse non è solo il buon cibo che apprezzo, ma anche la meravigliosa atmosfera e comunità che trovi al tavolo da pranzo italiano quando mangi insieme a casa di qualcuno. Sembra più semplice che nel mio paese d’origine.

In Italia si offre cibo, comunità e benessere. Spesso sento che nel mio paese d’origine spendiamo troppo tempo e sforzi per apparecchiare bene la tavola e impressionare gli ospiti con cibo ben disposto, stoviglie raffinate, colori che si intonano alla tavola e preferibilmente bellissimi fiori o candele come decorazione.

Mi piace la semplicità e il calore familiare che circonda il tavolo da pranzo italiano. Qui non sono solo la bocca e gli occhi ad essere soddisfatti, qui si sente anche il piacere nel cuore quando si mangia …

Eating in Italy

Food is not my great passion, but I must admit that you eat well in Italy. And when I say this, I don’t think of the complicated dishes of a good restaurant, but above all of everyday food. Pizza, pasta, bread, vegetables, chicken and fish etc.

Maybe it’s not just the good food that I appreciate, but also the wonderful atmosphere and community you find at the Italian dining table when you eat together at someone’s home. It seems simpler than in my home country.

In Italy, food, community and well-being are offered. I often feel that in my home country we spend too much time and effort setting the table well and impressing guests with nicely laid out food, fine tableware, colors that match the table and preferably beautiful flowers or candles as decoration.
